Brief description:
The oil fog separator exists of the side canal compressor and the filter case with the filter elements. The side canal compressor generates in the filter case a subpressure by which the ölnebelhaltige air is sucked off. This air flows through the filter elements which intercept the fine oil droplets carried along by the air. The oil droplets koaleszieren about the depth of the element and are pressed by the airflow to the downstream lying external surface of the filter element. In the ring space of the filter ground they gather and can be led back about the expiry opening and the connected tube in the oil container.
